Austin is the right place to be if you really want to put your money where your mouth is and
you work hard to get ahead, according to real estate blog Movoto.
The site has ranked Austin as the No. 4 hardest-working city in America, based on our long
work hours, volunteer work and workers per household.
Movoto based the list on criteria that includes average hours worked each week, jobless rate,
commute time, volunteer hours, lack of sleep, cost of living and employed workers per
Seattle topped the list for its low unemployment rate, followed by Arlington and Fort Worth.
San Jose, Calif. ranks fifth, followed by San Francisco; Dallas; Virginia Beach, Va.; Washington,
D.C.; and Houston.
